KNOW FEES.įor the GLC: Our region can consist of clubs from the following states: Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, Tennessee, Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, South Dakota. Barring any poor weather conditions, you will be invited to at least 6 games in the CASA league. There are 26 clubs in the in the CASA league including clubs from Erie, Pittsburgh, and Youngstown. Teams that play in the CASA league will play in the following divisions: Premier (GLA/GLC teams), D-1 or D-2 against other club teams. The CASA League plays most of its games at the Lodi facility in Seville, OH. Additional fees (equal to the initial GLC fee) apply for teams that advance to Regionals or Nationals. Games can be Saturday only, Sunday only or Saturday/Sunday. Games are played over 4 or 6 weekends between March and June. Each region is allowed a certain number of club teams in the GLC. Teams get promoted when they win or relegated when they lose. The GLC is run by Ohio North Youth Soccer Association and is an established and competitive league for teams U-13 and above. There is no additional fee for play-off advancement, but if a team advances to Regionals or Nationals, there is an additional fee per player to participate, that is not higher than your initial GLA fee. There are 8 to 9 games in the NPL/GLA and the top teams advance to the playoffs to play additional games. The additional fee you pay for NPL/GLA, also covers the cost of higher ref fees, field rental, and the fall and spring Crossover weekends. This league consist of competitive clubs from the following regions: Pittsburgh, PA, Erie PA, Western New York, Ohio and Indiana, Michigan. The NPL/GLA will also offer Crossover weekends in the fall (for younger teams in Canton, Western NY/Batavia or Dayton) and spring (in Canton, OH). Because of the level of the NPL/GLA games only 1 game is played on game days.
Acceptance into the league isn't always guaranteed. The GLA (Great Lakes Alliance) in a league within the NPL (National Premier League).
